The project, Employability and Lifelong Learning in Technical and Vocational Professions: A Joint Partnership Research Project in Austria and Ethiopia, explored challenges and opportunities in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). It focused on employability outcomes in the Ethiopian TVET system and the development and implementation of National Qualifications Frameworks (NQFs) in both Ethiopia and Austria. This collaborative initiative, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4, aimed to ensure inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning while addressing the development needs of both partner countries.

Join us on 24 April 2025 at OeAD for an insightful event as we present the outcomes of the Strengthening Organic Agriculture in Armenia project. We will share the results of the APPEAR partnership, delve into the challenges facing Armenia’s organic sector, reflect on the collaboration between Austrian and Armenian institutions, and discuss to the future of organic farming education, research, and outreach in Armenia.
With the aim of initiating new collaborations, deepening existing partnerships and expanding academic relations between Austria and India the OeAD organised a bilateral cooperation forum for higher education institutions in New Delhi on 24 March – immediately prior to the APAIE conference 2025. The event brought together more than 70 people and provided a dynamic setting for exchange and networking. Study in India (EdCil) was a partner of the OeAD, the forum was hosted by the Austrian Cultural Forum New Delhi.
