Drawing on her involvement in international research projects, she will speak about aquatic resource management and sustainable aquaculture systems in East Africa, and international research collaboration, including her role as an Africa-UniNet representative.
The HEESeB project has been successfully completed, strengthening higher engineering education and institutional capacities in sustainable building and timber engineering in Bhutan.
This completed KoEF project strengthened research cooperation between Austria, Kenya, and Rwanda to advance climate-smart agriculture and water resources management for more resilient floodplain livelihoods in the face of climate change.
Around 50 OeAD scholarship holders joined a day excursion to the Wachau Valley in Niederösterreich on 17 July 2026 experiencing Austria's rich history, culture and natural heritage. The excursion also provided valuable opportunities for networking and intercultural exchange among scholars from diverse countries, disciplines and universities. Events like these strengthen the OeAD scholarship community and help international scholars feel welcome in Austria.
