Studied Business Education and Law and received his doctorate from Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) in 1997. Following periods abroad in New York (Fulbright Scholar), Hamburg (university assistant to Tade Tramm), and Thessaloniki (Seconded National Expert at Cedefop), head of ARQA-VET, now RQB, since 1 October 2007. Married, 2 children.

Teacher training degree in German and English Studies, with an additional focus on German as a Foreign Language, from the University of Vienna. After graduating, she worked at the University of Vienna’s Research Services and International Relations and at the Teaching Center of the Medical University of Vienna, where she was involved in teaching administration, examination management, and project assistance.

Completed a master’s degree in Education Science and Psychology at the University of Vienna. From 2013 to 2020, she worked as a research associate at the University of Vienna’s Department of Education and Centre for Teacher Education, focusing on research into school transitions, regional school development, school leadership research, and service learning. She also worked as an external lecturer at the Department of Education. 

Member of the RQB team in the field of school quality management (QMS) since January 2021.

Teacher education at the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria. Studies and further training at the University of Gothenburg with a focus on IT & Learning and at the University for Continuing Education Krems with a focus on eEducation and digital learning design. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in E-Learning and Knowledge Management at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland. Teacher at a secondary school from 2016 and specialist in virtual teaching and digital learning systems for the Lower Austrian Directorate of Education from 2020.

Christopher Lober has been a member of RQB since July 2021. He coordinates the quality assessment of digital teaching and learning resources and quality assurance for the Federal Ministry of Education’s (BMB) Marktplatz Lernapps.

Born in Pielavesi, Finland. Graduated from the University of Tampere – major field of study: Adult Education / Lifelong Learning, minor fields of study: Economics, Psychology, Social Psychology, Philosophy, History; Teacher's diploma.

Working experiences, among others: 1997-1998 working as an inspector for apprenticeship training in the region Pirkanmaa, 1999-2005 developer and coordinator of projects supporting students in VET schools and coordination of the schools’ international activities, since 2006 freelance advisor and expert involved in projects in the field of lifelong learning.

Since 01/2011 working for  RQB (former ARQA-VET).

Studied Education at the University of Vienna and Digital Transformation at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. From 2015 to 2022, she worked as a project manager for educational projects in adult education, later focusing on digital transformation. She subsequently worked as a product manager for online university continuing education programmes until February 2026. 

Member of the RQB team in the field of quality assurance for learning apps since March 2026.

Studied Socioeconomics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. From 2006 to 2007, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Industrial Research, and from 2007 to 2012 as a quality manager at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She has been a member of the ARQA-VET team, now RQB, since 1 February 2012. Her work focuses on quality management systems in education, particularly in schools. She has also worked as a quality management expert in external school evaluations in Germany and Switzerland and as an auditor for educational guidance and counselling organisations in Germany and Austria.

Completed a Bachelor’s degree in German Studies at the University of Vienna from 2019 to 2023. Since 2024, pursuing a Master’s degree in German as a Foreign and Second Language. From 2022 to 2023, completed an internship as a Programme Trainee at the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe (ECML), and from 2023 to 2025 worked as a consultant at the ECML in the field of project management.

Studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies and Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Vienna, as well as Cultural Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Her professional experience includes working as assistant to the Head of the National Agency at OeAD-GmbH and in press and public relations at the Staatstheater Nürnberg and the Volksoper Wien.
