Discovering Salzburg - a day to remember for scholarship holders

The day began with an exclusive guided tour of the world-renowned Festspielhäuser, offering participants a rare glimpse into the heart of the Salzburg Festival. The group enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most prestigious performance venues in the world.

Afterwards they enjoyed lunch at Sternbräu, a historic brewery and restaurant in the heart of Salzburg. The scholars had classic Austrian cuisine and time to get to know each other.

The afternoon featured a guided city walk through Salzburg’s picturesque old town. Participants visited famous landmarks, learned about the city’s rich history, and enjoyed the charm of its narrow streets and hidden courtyards.

The day concluded with a visit to the legendary Café Fürst, where scholars enjoyed coffee and cake.

Beyond the cultural programme, the event was an opportunity for scholars to build new connections, share ideas, and enjoy each other’s company in an informal setting.
